Darrell and Moriah Martin have been married for 26 years and have lived in various parts of the US, raising their two sons and investing in their careers. For the last few years, Darrell served as Chief Operations Officer for a wealth management company just outside of Seattle, Washington, and Moriah completed her seventh year as a Chief Human Resources Officer with two large organizations in the Seattle area.
With both of their sons now adults, they began to consider the next opportunity. Moriah, specifically, longed to create a space that would offer local and international travelers a respite—a place where guests would be greeted warmly and be provided with clean and comfortable lodging and local and homemade food and wines. Together, they dreamed of creating a space for people to reflect, connect with others, and nourish their minds, bodies, and souls.
That dream became a reality on December 6, 2022, when they purchased Repos à Ribérac, a well-established chambres d'hôtes from Paul and Lesley Hickman. Paul and Lesley had, fourteen years earlier, lovingly restored this beautiful historic townhouse, maintaining much of its original charm and features. For the last 12 years, they built a reputation of being warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable innkeepers.
Darrell and Moriah are excited about continuing all of the components that have made Repos successful, as well as offering additional services like culinary weekends, daily aperitifs, and a table d'hôtes several nights a week. They look forward to meeting you and creating a space where you feel at home.
